Attorney Rivas was born and raised in Tampa, FL to a Cuban Immigrant and is fluent in Spanish. She is a follower of Jesus Christ whose heart’s desire is to reflect the character of Christ to others. She has strong family ties to Wahneta, FL, a small Polk County town heavily populated by migrant workers. Because Mrs. Rivas is familiar with the unique challenges migrant workers face, she strove to study law and form a law practice dedicated to serving the local community of Tampa. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from The University of South Florida in Tampa, FL and is a cum laude graduate of Stetson University’s College of Law in Gulfport, FL.

Mrs. Rivas is happily married to her high school sweetheart, Ben. They live in Tampa, Florida with their beautiful children, Trey and Bella and their beloved Boxer dog, Chino. Mrs. Rivas is passionate about all families and does not take lightly her role, as mother and wife, in shaping the future generation.
